In partnership with the Alaska Native Heritage Center, this project preserved traditional Alaskan dance and cultural expression through motion capture and high-fidelity digital avatar creation. The inaugural piece featured a hyper-realistic recreation of one dancer, including her outfit, hairstyle, and performance.

Utilizing scan-base textures, custom workflows, and an eye for detail, we’ve pushed the likeness of Metahumans to another level, achieving high fidelities in both likeness and expressiveness through a single scan.
Process the scan data and create a rough reference mesh using RealityCapture
Create a Metahuman using the clean mesh, transfer the textures which wrapped from Wrap4D to the new Metahuman, and then blend textures and paint in details using Substance Painter
